How AndHealth works

Detailed health review call
Your first step is a phone call (at no cost) to review your medical history, condition diagnoses, confirm insurance coverage, and determine which AndHealth services make the most sense for you.

Rheumatology 1st appointment
During your first visit, you’ll meet with your rheumatologist to review current symptoms and determine if additional testing is needed. A clinical pharmacist may join the appointment to discuss your prescriptions.
Virtual and in-person appointments available!
Note: Virtual rheumatology appointments will incorporate lab work, imaging, and on-camera reviews to ensure symptoms such as joint pain, joint swelling, inflammation and movement capabilities are assessed, similar to an in-person visit.

Follow-up appointments
Your rheumatologist will collaborate with the other members of your care team -- your NP/RN, your pharmacist, your health coach and your patient navigator -- to create your personalized care plan. They’ll consider:
- Prescription medications
- Supplements and nutrition
- At-home habits such as movement and stress reduction
- Health coaching to help prioritize and pace your care plan to make changes
- Patient navigator support to ensure blood work, transportation, food access, and insurance authorizations are all understood and worked out
